** ‘THE ISLANDS’ IS TAKEN FROM THE NEW ALBUM BY PALE GREEN THINGS **
Manchester based, lo-fi indie folk soloist, Pale Green Things today announces debut album ‘Beast In The Hearts Of Men ’ which will be available across on major download and streaming sites from June 29th 2018.
Named after The Mountain Goats track, ” Pale Green Things “, Traynor goes for a similar Alt-Folk; Belle and Sebastian and Bright Eyes sound accompanied with influences drawn from Icelandic music such as Mum and Sigur Ros.
After becoming disillusioned with the music industry, Jack took time out becoming a long distance driver for two years, travelling across the UK and Europe. Jack found that with nothing more than a guitar and a toothbrush, this was a perfect writing environment for new material.
Releasing the first single from the album ‘The Islands’ (6th April 2018) I Sing in the Kitchen said ” It gives fear of the unknown its own groovy pop tune. ” and Imperfect Fifth said “ The soothing melody is layered with gorgeous soundscapes that speak of both relief and safety ”
