tici taci is very happy to welcome long established DJ/producer sLEdger (aka Rob Dallison) to the roster. Rob is a London based DJ/producer with a long history and a pedigree to match. His productions have had mainstream media support from the likes of John Digweed, Mary Anne Hobbs, Annie Nightingale, and Ashley Beedle on Radio 1. His first release as slEdger (Softcatle for the Pegdoll label) gained widespread support from a diverse selection of DJ luminaries like Nick Warren, Luke Una, Ashley Beedle, Sean Johnston, Timo Maas and Jon Carter to name a few, and led to remix work for a number of artists including Boy George and psyche rock band Strange Pill.
Rob now brings sLEdger to tici taci with “Popper” – driven by the bass and guitar of Andy Moore (LOHILO) this dubby bouncing mid-tempo indie-dance swirler is proving to be an absolute monster at Sean Johnston’s ALFOS parties – in Sean’s own words “destined to be an ALFOS classic”.
The original version comes with a guitar mix, pushing Andy’s guitar to the fore.
